Privacy Policy
GelHelle · Version 1.0 · Effective 16 October 2026
In short: GelHelle collects no personal data. It has no account, no sign-in, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking, and it makes no network connections of its own. Your progress and your settings stay on your device.
1. Controller and contact
This policy describes how personal data is handled in GelHelle, a game for iPhone, iPad and Mac (the “Game”).
The Game is published by Yusuf Murad Disli, sole proprietor, trading as SlipperySign:
Rucholzstrasse 64103 Bottmingen
Switzerland
For privacy enquiries, including requests to exercise the rights set out in section 9, contact privacy@slipperysign.com.
SlipperySign is established in Switzerland and subject to the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection. The European Commission has determined that Switzerland provides an adequate level of protection for personal data.
2. Scope
This policy covers the Game as distributed through Apple’s App Store and TestFlight, and this website, gelhelle.slipperysign.com. It does not cover the App Store or TestFlight themselves, or your Apple Account, which are governed by Apple’s own terms and privacy policy.
3. What GelHelle collects
Nothing. The Game does not ask for, collect or transmit personal data. It has no account and no sign-in; it contains no advertising, no analytics and no third-party code that tracks you; and it makes no network connections of its own. SlipperySign therefore receives no personal data through the Game, and relies on no legal basis for processing it.
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Like any website, it is delivered by a host that processes request data such as your IP address transiently in order to serve and secure the pages; see section 7.
4. What stays on your device
To let you carry on where you left off, the Game keeps two kinds of information in its own storage on your device:
| What | Examples |
|---|---|
| Your progress | The levels you have cleared and their stars, your credits and what you have bought with them at the Workshop (ships, guns, upgrades, research, paint), your best score, which tips you have already seen, and whether the full game has been bought. |
| Your settings | Aim assist, music, sound, auto fire, and whether the story plays at launch. |
This information is not sent to SlipperySign or to anyone else by the Game. It may be included in backups of your device (for example iCloud Backup, or a backup to your computer), under your device settings and Apple’s terms.
5. Apple and the App Store
Downloads, and any purchases, are made through the App Store and handled by Apple. SlipperySign receives no payment details. Apple provides developers with aggregated reports of downloads and sales.
The full game is an in-app purchase. To know whether you have bought it, the Game asks Apple’s StoreKit on your device; buying, restoring and redeeming codes go through Apple, under your Apple Account. The answer stays on your device.
If you have chosen, in your device’s settings, to share analytics with app developers, Apple may also make crash reports and aggregated usage statistics for the Game available to SlipperySign, in a form that does not identify you. SlipperySign uses them only to find and fix faults. You can change this choice at any time in your device’s privacy settings. If you test the Game through TestFlight, Apple shares the feedback and screenshots you choose to send, and crash reports, as described in TestFlight’s own terms.
6. Children
The Game is made for players of all ages. Because it collects no personal data from anyone, it collects none from children.
7. Sub-processors and transfers
The Game uses no sub-processors: no personal data leaves your device through it.
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., which processes request data transiently to deliver and secure the pages. No personal data is transferred by SlipperySign to any other party.
8. Retention and deletion
Your progress and settings remain on your device until you remove them: deleting the Game from your device removes both. A purchase of the full game stays with your Apple Account and can be restored.
9. Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and, where it applies, the GDPR, you have the right to request access to your personal data, its rectification or erasure, the restriction of its processing, its portability, and to object to its processing. SlipperySign holds no personal data about you from the Game, but you are welcome to write to privacy@slipperysign.com with any question. We respond within one month.
You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, or in the EEA the authority for your place of residence or work.
10. Changes to this policy
If a future version of the Game adds a feature that handles personal data (for example online leaderboards or syncing your progress between devices), this policy will be updated before that version is released. Each version of this policy carries a version number and an effective date, shown at the top of this page.
